Blue Ridge Mountains Region
Location-
The Blue Ridge Mountain is located in the northeastern portion of Georgia. It is the highest elevated region.
Physical Features-
The Blue Ridge Mountains consists of mountains, ridges, and basins. It has many large river such as the Chattahoochee and the Savannah river.
Climate-
The Blue Ridge Mountains has cool winters with a greater chance of snow fall. It has mild summers, with a great amount of rainfall.
Crops-
The Blue Ridge Mountains doesn't have much farmland due to the mountains and valleys. They do have hardwood timber forests, mountain laurel, azaleas, and apple tree orchards.
Minerals-
The Blue Ridge Mountains have gold, gems, and marble.
Animals-
The Blue Ridge Mountains have black bears, deer, foxes, coyotes ,mountain lions, bobcats, raccoon, wild turkey, and trout.
